Go with the 4.5 kit...the fuel mileage decrease from larger tires is a real concern...but...regearing will cure that...I run 33's and get 18+ MPG...with stock gears it got around 10mpg.
How much the suspension has sagged has a lot to do with it too as well as the actual suspension spec package...go to the tire store and have one trial fitted...that size wouldn't have fit my XJ when i got it due to severe suspension sag...so bad my first lift package (3") lifted it nearly 5...

May be a bit off topic if this convo is about transmission lube...as for engine oil...if your engine leaks or weeps oil with conventional mineral oil in it....it may well leak much worse with synthetic oil...the best conventional oil in my experience is Castrol GTX..never had a lube...

Still cheaper than a new one!!!!!!!!!!! I bought my old Dawg for $700.00 bucks....have spent about $1,800.00 bucks in 3 months on it...when I'm done I expect to have about 4K in it...but It will be what I want...I dont see the financial sense in spending 20K+ on something that STILL...

The PCV system serves to ventilate the crankcase by using manifold vacuum..In the case of the lnjected motors that use the little skinny tubing, if the engine blow-by rate exceeds the flow rate of the PVC system pressure will build up and find a way out...usually into the...

Make sure the door isn't hitting the fender...if you even lean on the fender hard right where it meets the door you can bend the flimsy standoffs. if it gets pushed in just a little the door won't clear... both of mine were like that when i bought my project xj.
I strenghtened the tabs...

Nice and even... looks real good to me.. Hmmmm..those I-6's must really be choked up....but then again, the engineer's have to deal with making the intake tract nice and quiet too...while you are doing the cat-back...install a hi-po cat...like one off a big-block ford...they are long...

"Jasper" is a remanufacturing company...distributed by a large number of auto supply outlets. The engines are remanufactured to O.E.M. spec. An alternative to rebuilding a motor yourself or paying the dealership for a engine.

Shoot, put you a big ole cam in that rascal.....that'll bring the cranking pressure number down.... Just kidding!!!!! that would make it mighty hard to live with...but it would decrease the effective swept volume at cranking speed and lower the cranking pressure....by the...

Ummm..how to say this..in defog mode the heater supplies the heat.. the a/c does the dehumidifying...On the t/stat...run a stocker...195 degrees...yah just have to remember it's supposed to run kinda warm...all "modern" engines run hotter than the old days...keeps the clearances where...

I have used the motorcraft carbs before..work pretty good if they are set up right.. but the best choice would most likely be the weber carb...VERY tunable...be sure to use a fuel pressure regulator...webers dont like a whole lot of fuel pressure...3-3.5#
