Sway Bar Link Length (can't say that 3 times fast)

I have a lifted CJ5 with a shackle lift and a spring lift but am not sure total lift inches. I need to get longer sway bar link's (mine are stock) but am not sure what length to get. Is there a certain way to measure or figure the correct length. Also was looking at different disconnects and...

    Shackle Lift

I have the exact same shackles and have had for 8 years with out a problem. Mine are not that narrow at the spring end but I bought lift springs at the same time. I would use washers until you get new springs.

New to all this and need advice

Have owned Swampers for 20 plus years from 33's to 38's and loved every pair, would not buy the Thornbirds again though. I am running TSL Radial SSR's in a 33x12.5 and could not be happier. This is not my daily driver, though I also do not trailer it to go wheelin

The Great "burnt" CJ part out !!!!!!

Just out of curiosity what did you have mounted to the top of the roll bar facing backwards? It was a nice looking rig, shame about the fire and insurance.

    Fuel sending unit

I had the same problem with my 80. I ordered a new tank and sending unit like you and still my gauge does not worked. I think mine is the gauge ground so I am going to try that as I get time. Check all your grounds and return the sending unit and you should be good.

    Clutch Adjustment Help

I have had a few people tell me I can adjust the mechanical cluth on my 80 CJ5 but no one has been able to tell me how. The clutch engages at the very top of the pedal but does not slip or have a problem shifting. Does anyone have diagrams or instructions on adjusting a mechanical clutch? Thanks

I have been having trouble finding a cat back exhaust system I could put in my 1980 CJ5 with a 256 I6. I looked at Borla and some other mfg and they don't make one. I ran across this one at JCWitney but have never heard of the company and it seems awful cheap. Anyone had any experience...

    Rhino Liner VS. Line X

I've used both for years and think they are about the same. I have had Line X in the tub of my CJ for about 9 years and it has faded a little but I doubt will ever come off. More likley the rest of the jeep will rust around it. One thing to consider when having the inside of the tub done...
