    hey steel, i was wondering if you looked at my post in the cherokee section. ive racked my brain and the brain of all my mechanically inclinded friends and they have no idea. youve gotten me out of a few predicaments before and i would greatly appreciate the help

    Thanks for all your help. I have desided toput new rebuilt engine in. Might not be the best idea but will get me to CA. Then hope will last another 6 years. Thanks again for your help.

    Hi there sorry it's been long haul. replaced crankshaft position sensor and jeep still no start. I have so far replaced coil, distributor cap and water pump. This jeep is driving me nuts. Now what do I need to check.
