They only made these from 48-51 (and the 51's were the leftovers from 50). I would love to find a project one. I had an original 50 with 6 cylinder for my first car. Sold it to buy my first CJ7. Wished I had the Jeepster back ever since. They are tough to find.

Yeah. Same problem with a windshield frame mounted lightbar. The light reflects off of the hood making it hard to see down the road. They make these things, but to me they just look like something to catch mud. KC HiLites Auxiliary Lighting Products

I've got daylighters on mine. They fit fine, but the glare off the hood kinda makes them worthless IMO. I put them on BOTH Jeeps before I turned them on, and the glare off of the hood is HORRIBLE. You can find one of my Jeeps under reader rides that shows regular daylighters mounted there.

That would be the biggest benefit, but 25-30 mpg would be pretty nice too.

I'm very disappointed with bush, but obama can be MUCH, MUCH worse. In my experience the smoother the politician talks, but more of a scumbag he is. Back on topic, bush did have some pretty funny quotes there.
