Hello folks, wanted to take a quick sec to introduce myself. Im here in Colorado and enjoy trail ridin with the little woman. I have a 2001 TJ with a 3" Black Diamond lift, front disconnects, Airaid cold air intake w/ throttle body spacer and 33" ProComp AT's. Just got changing all the fluids over to synthetics last night to get ready for some wheelin'. Other then a CB and cornor gaurds thats about all i have for mods at the moment. But as you all know its not all the goody whippers my ride is gonna see.

Welcome to Jeepz. Did you change over to Royal Purple? I've been using mobil 1 myself, but have been thinking about the purple stuff.

Yup. Running 5/30 RP in the engine, 75/140 RP in the diffs, Penz synchro in the trans and Mobile one synth ATF in the T-case. Hopefully that should be a good combo. Stocked up on the kitty litter just in case my TJ decides it wants to start dripping on the driveway.

Where do you get the RP? I know that NAPA told us they were going to stock it, but it hasn't happened at our store yet.

I got it from Pep Boys. I believe its 9.99 qt for the 75/140 and 6.99 qt for the 5/30. I did end up 1qt short and made a emergency run to Checker where they only had 2qts.

Im actually a transplant from California by way of Oklahoma. Been in Co for 9 years now.

I use RedLine (3R Racing just off Santa Fe & Hampden) and Mobil 1.

I think RedLine is a great product and much cheaper than RP.

IMHO.

I personally have never used RL but do hear good things, I guess I went with name recognition and past experience when I picked my oils.
