PROUD new JEEP cj-7 owner
after alot ALOT .... A BUTTLOAD of haggling and rejected trade offers...
I traded out a toyota 4 cylinder motor home that was gutted with 105K miles... (worth about 3 grand on a very very good day) for a REALLY NICE 1985 jeep cj-7 with 71K original miles! I think I got the better end of the deal... what do you guys think?  i do have a small oil leak that i want to track down... and i will probably need a carb soon... and tires... but, all in all i think I STOLE THIS JEEP for what I traded for it and what needed to be done to the trade vehicle... it was a straight up even trade, no cash!  I cant believe the response this vehicle gets... I see guys of all ages just drop what they are doing to stare wide eyed when she drives by... My girlfriend LOVES the Jeep as well... I think it kinda flips her switches if you know what I mean...  anyone reading this... please advise me on where to start on this thing! I never knew driving could be so much fun. LETS GO WHEELING!

Welcome to the "Z"!!! Yeah, I think you stole that thing!!! I never seem to be that lucky to run across someone that "misguided" (being kind). We usually don't "cotton" to thieves on this board, but I think we can make an exception.
 Nice CJ!!! Pretty rust-free for a Buckeye vehicle.

it is pretty rust free... the frame is too... i think it was garaged for most of its life... i wish i could say it was luck... but i wrote over a hundred trade offers to jeep sellers from indianapolois to lexington to columbus... finally i found a guy who was only selling to buy a motorhome...

I was hoping that you guys thought i made a good trade too!!!! i was told the original owners only drove it on a farm... the former owner was the third owner and he only put 2k miles on it... which unfortunately was long enough for him to back it into a tree! so there is a ding on the right rear corner... nothing some diamond plate and a new taillight wont cover i am hoping... I wouldnt doubt if I could sell this jeep for....??? alot more than i have into it. but im more interested in keeping it. coolest vehicle i have ever had... and probably the most expensive one too...
