New Jeep Needs a WASH.....

HELLO JEEPZ PEEPS!
after a couple of decades I bought my first JEEP last week. 08 Saraha Unlimited stock, softtop with 5500 miles. LOVE IT!!! anybody know if i can run it through an automatic car wash? the manual says no but i see them all the time. i have both the touchless pressure and big mophead styles in town. can i cruise thru??

welcome! you could just wait till it rains or drive thru a river.

I wouldn't take anything I cared about through anything with a mophead on it that touched the vehicle. A touchless is probably okay. I have gone through an auto touchless with my 04 TJ with a soft top and the worst thing that happened was I got squirted in the side while driving through. I think one of the jets must have been pointed right at the crack where the soft door shuts to the body. Drove home with the side of my shirt a little damp but no big deal.

I go through them all the time in my '07 and I have a soft top.

I pressure wash my tj by racing thro the lake. A jeep car wash is any body of water!
