Yeah it's not the 4 bolts that hold the fan assembly on. I am wondering if the mechanical fans use a viscous type fluid on the fan clutch assembly, similar to what older BMW uses that get to a certain temp and then grab causing the fan to turn. That's not my problem, either way. dlm ny country
