    I agree here, I think 32's would work real well, if you put 4.5 under it. I would reccomend trimming the wheel well a little. You can pull the plastic up, and trim the metal, also hammer the seams back as to not slice tires when flexing, and put the plastic back with new screws. It looks nice...

    I would trim the wells a little bit, but if you cut it too much you will have to weld the panels together. xj's are unibody ,and will lose strength if cut too much. Lift it as little as possible,and cut as much as you can without getting into the strength of the body, to clear you desired tire...

    If I remember right, there is a spacer in between the steering box and the frame/unibody. I think it is made of alluminum, this might be the problem. I really don't remember,but it is worth checking into. JOE>

    wonky xj steering

    I agree, I have had 4 xjs, and lifted 3 of them all 3in. or more , and never had a caster problem. My friend bought the last one I had sitting on 33's with 5in. of lift still no caster problem. Thats just me though. JOE>
