    My oil pressure issue

I have a 2001 wrangler 4.0L inline 6. Last summer I figured out I had issues with my oil pump. So I replaced it. I also had a problem with the oil pressure dropping to zero at idle. I replaced the main bearings and that fixed that issue. So I bought this jeep used almost 3 years ago. I...

oil pressure not registering some times

Ii'd like to know more info on this too. I have the same issue. It's getting worse. I have no oil pressure when I start the jeep, if it's warm. I've replaced the oil sending unit and the oil pump.

    Clutch problem

I had this on my YJ. Same symptoms. My issue was the slave master cylinder. Pull the slave cylinder out of the transmission. Have someone push in the clutch. In my case, the slave didn't move. I replaced both the slave and master since I didn't want to have the master fail later.

My jeep wasn't leaking but got hot when I was idling too long at a stop. I had the thermostat replaced and that fixed the overheating.

To reestablish timing I took out the spark plug from cylinder 1, then manually rotated the motor while putting my finger in the hole where the spark plug goes. After I felt cylinder 1 at compression. I rotated the motor to TDC. Maybe cylinder 1...

Hi all, So I have a 2001 Sport 4.0L engine with 124K miles. I bought this used last year. So initially the problem I saw was when I started the car the "check gauges" light would come on, the oil pressure read 0, then after a few seconds, the pressure would rise to 20 and the light would go...

    1996 JGC limited

I had this problem too. In my case the tire was out of balance. The tire looked fine but it was the spare for years. Have the balance checked. I ended up just replacing the tire
