I threw mine in a vise, and wedged a screwdriver into the walls of the cylinder and just pried. I couldnt find the mystery retaining screw.

    More Power!!!

Spacers and intakes dont hurt reliabilty, but in my opinion the spacer is useless. Chips arent that great, but if your going to get one, get the Hypertech programmer. Hate to tell you, but pulling all that weight, how much power can you expect from a 243 cubic engine while traveling...

Times are changing and so is my ride

I have both, and I love both. They are entirely different engines. If you dont need the power, go with a 2.5, you can save some coin by going that route. The 4.0 is great for power on the interstate, but your gonna break more parts with the 4.0. If money is no object, then get the 4.0.

    CJ7 VS. TJ Wrangler

Is it going to be just a wheeling rig or a DD?? If a DD I would say go with a TJ. If a wheeling rig, a CJ.

RE: Re: My last trail run Like the third pic down, great shot. The second pic down is absolutely the best though, it looks as if though you are in quiet repose and pondering some great thought... Is that a stiff drink in your hand???

New to the Jeep World, Have some Questions

RE: Torque For 33's you dont have to get a 4" lift. A 2.5" to 3" will work. If you go with a 4" your going to have driveline vibes, that will require the use of a SYE and CV shaft. Do a 3", and get 15x8 wheels to run 33x12.5 tires. What kind of tires do you want? Cheapo all terrains, mud...

    Torque

RE: Do you read or like JP Magazine? Tight but not too tight. 8) Seriously, I think its, eighty pounds. But I dont have my book on me at this time. If you go too tight it will make it ride real stiff, I just make em snug and throw a little lock tite on em..
