    motor question

You choice of motor, transmission, and TC comes down to what your budget is. Paying someone to do it is $$$$, doing it yourself or sweet talking a friend into helping is less money but is more time. Do some research on the V8 and powertrain packages available in both your local junk yard and...

    PA Warrior Dash

I did the Dash last year at Copper Mountain in Colorado, it was a lot of fun,.great people watching and a butt kicker at 9-10000 feet. I wore a kilt so the fire at the end of the race you have to jump over toasted the kiwi's a little. If I were in town I would.do it again. Bacon

    YY extreme coil link suspension..

GenRight has several packages for their coil conversions. There is no stretch in this one: GenRight Front & Rear Suspension Kit The other suspension packages GenRight has are front/rear stretches. Best of luck Bacon

    YY extreme coil link suspension..

GenRight makes a coil conversion kit for the YJ as well. I think it can/is a rear stretch too boot. JEEP PARTS | JEEP ACCESSORIES | OFFROAD JEEP WRANGLER RUBICON | JEEP LED TAIL LIGHTS | GAS TANKS From what I understand and hear these are very nice kits but expensive. Bacon

    towing a jeep

I think the owners manual says to do the TC only if you are flat towing the Jeep. If you are using a car dolly just remove/disconnect the rear drive shaft. Bacon

    Warn hub issues

Is it only the right or left hub that tries to reengage? Might be there is a tiny amount of play in the hub and when you turn which ever direction it causes a shift to apply some friction to the hub causing it to try and engage. Bacon

    Warn hub issues

My only thought is that there is the slightest amount of friction and after thousand of wheel rotations the hub slowly moves to where it is trying to engage itself. My warn hubs have done the same thing Ggg is talking about, I have just gotten into the habit of checking and rechecking them...

    trans qeustion.

I have the same year with engine and what use to be transmission and TC. Your transmission is the AX-5 and the TC is the NP (New Processes) 231. Yes you are correct about the axles, with the D30 in the front and the D35 in the back. Bacon

    1 ton axle flip?

It may be easier to get a passenger drop TC. To flip the axle you would swap the steering knuckles and get a new carrier that will turn the correct direction when in forward. I think. Bacon

    Is this legal?

Make sure they do not charge you for the miles you put on for those 5 days because it will further depreciate the value of the Jeep. Happened to a friend of mine, the steeler**** called up with the same excuse then charged my friend for the miles they put on to the car. Like everyone has been...
