    1077334 first thing i'd do is put a timing light on it. then check the choke to be sure that its opening. i'm not sure what kind of choke the weber has, but it may be sticking [addsig]

    AC help!

    1074260 the first thing I check when I do a/c work is the coils. make sure they're clean. restricted air flow across the coils of an a/c system can make it have high head pressure, or freeze up, depending on which coil is clogged. either of these can cause the a/c to quit working.[addsig]

    Starter problems

    1070389 sounds like the same problems I had with my 84cj. I took out the venturi cluster and drilled the brass tubes out to 0.040". While it was apart, i took the carb apart and cleaned the float bowl and all the tiny passages in the carb body. Since doing this, the old cj has had no problems...

    faulty gas gauge

    1070820 Try pulling the sending unit out of the tank and lightly sanding the stem, where the slide moves up and down. Over time, they will rust and the sliding contact will not be able to make a good connection with the resistor in the tank, so the gauge does not read correctly.[addsig]
