I would say self taught, but its more like Jeepz taught for now. I like figuring things out, why they aren't working, and fixing them. Actually, I do a fair bit of that at my job too, though I don't work on cars.

They are for "passenger comfort" only. My 2 year old loves it when we put his car seat in the back seat and ride with top and doors off. He always asks me if we can ride in "his Jeepie".

My Jeep is not my every day driver, and I get frustrated when I see a lot of Jeeps out when I'm not driving it.

Amen brotha. I was about 200 miles inland in Mississippi when Katrina hit, and we had major damage even up there. I have a lot of friends on the Mississippi gulf coast who got hammered.

I've got the hard top off of my TJ right now, but there is no bar. Just a rubber gasket that goes along the bottom of the window that seals it to the tailgate when closed. There is no bar that connects the lower part of the rear of the hard top or connects along the bottom of the window. Without...

Part # is 4854195AC I have replaced it, disconnected the battery for 5 minutes to reset the computer, and the check engine light has been banished from my dashboard.

Do you have any experience with a high performance filter or cold air intake on the 4.0 liter? Do you think it's worth the investment?
