So as some of you may recall, I picked up my YJ about two or three months ago and within 36 hours had it at the shop getting a 4" lift and 33"s. Since then I have been doing absolutely everything I can think of to get it just that much better off road. I was having trouble with some obstacles...

You might even be able to trade the 258 and a little cash for a decent 4.0. Especially if you only need the short block. There are always engines at the junk yard that someone overheated and warped the heads on. If your topend is good, you could just drop it on one of those.

JB Weld it if you don't have a welder or are not an experienced welder. Just prep the surfface with a wire wheel/brush and rubbing alcohol. I'm 99% sure JB will handle the heat. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this please.

can you just waller the whole out a little bit with a dremel or something? Just enough to fit a wrench in there? Or maybe use a nut driver instead of a wrench. Can't really make a good recomendation without seeing the bolt you are trying to get at.

I guess the other thing you might want to consider is whether or not you ever plan on running a five-point harness. I don't know if there is a mod you can do to normal high-back seats that would alot for a harness. Just thought I'd throw that out there. :D

Leave them in. If they aren't locked all the time you won't even notice them on the street, and then you'll have them when you need them off road.

It depends. How large of a body lift do you want? I really wouldn't recomend more than an inch or inch and a quarter (whatever they sell for the KJ), as it puts quite a bit more strain on the body mounts if you go any taller. I havn't really looked under the hood of a Liberty, (my dad's is...
