oh wow. I think yer gaskets have gone caput in yer transfer case...thats just way too much oil everywhere to be a vent leak or yoke seal failure. I would look at yer shifter plate that holds yer shifter in at the top of the transmission though. Mine came loose and spewed oil like that too.

I don't know if my story will help but what the hay............ About 6 months after i got my TJ the shifting started getting harder and harder until one day it stuck in 4th and i had to pull over and phone a friend for help. I took the front part of my console off and boot and saw the problem...

I just did the clutch with a centerforce2 bout 6 months ago so it should be alright. I forgot to mention i have 31's on there right now. I don't off road very hard but there's always that circumstance that gives you no choice but to give 'er a lil more than usual to get out of a sticky situation...

I totally agree with everyone on the short arm shortcomings. I have a rough country 4" lift in my TJ and it rides like a tank..not just because of the short arm angles and such but also because its just a cheaply made lift. I DON'T recommend it to you but make the point that you get what you pay...
