    Mustang Engine Swap?

Ok, you have my attention about the T-176. Now for the stupid question. How do i tell which gearbox i have? Yeah, thats pretty much the reason she swapped the engine.. Having the 302 should be just the thing i need for power, reliability, and the ability to scare the neighbours.

    Mustang Engine Swap?

Howdy, peeps... Been a while since i've been on. I recently had a donor engine fall into my lap and i wanted to ask ppl here how viable a swap it would be. Fuel injected 5.0 litre 302 from a '89 mustang. Headers, manifolds, exaust, X and Y pipes, and assorted bits and pieces. (should have a...

    Head lamp-dash shortage

Sounds like your headlight dimmer is dying. I just bypassed the dashboard dimmer and wired my dash lights up to the wire for my parking lights. Works like a charm.

jeep dying You said one of the hoses on the weber fell off... Care to post a picture, maybe i can identify it. Anyways, here's a link that helped me *correct* alot of the problems i had with my vacuum routing. http://home.jps.net/~sanchez3/Weber/install/install.htm The only thing i did...

    Freezing Carb.

A block heater helps a bit with this problem, but not much. The best solution is to use a gas line antifreze to keep the ice from forming on the choke plate. When i get this problem, i just pop the clips on the air filter and manually move the choke plate until its loosened up a bit.

Is the Weber 32/36 DGEV the best.

sorry, tug... minor clarification on that one: the 32/36 DGEV(progressive carb)is the more reliable one of the two. I think you're talking about the 38/38 DGES (syncronous carb) Anyways, i know what you meant, so its all good :D Oh, BTW... Another thing that bugs me about my weber is that the...

Is the Weber 32/36 DGEV the best.

Aggreed, but i still think that dyno is a good place to start when arguing one over the other... Nobody's really put all the performance stats in one place for these things. Actually, if anybody's gonna put together a fact sheet on these carbs, they should include the dynos, fuel efficency...

Is the Weber 32/36 DGEV the best.

I have the weber and i love it, however i have no basis of comparison other than the stock carter piece of crap. The only complaint i have about the weber is the documentation. You really have to experement alot to get your vacuum lines installed right, but once you do have it hooked up right...

Don't ya just love this weather? ^_^

Okay, right now the roads in toronto are completely disgusting... Its like a slush-puppy gone horribly wrong out there! The roads are covered with lotsa slush and there's wet snow and flurries all over the place. Not only do you have slippery snow conditions, but you have lotsa...

What grade gas do you use?

Amen to that. Do some google searches on "octane myths" and you'll see just how off the mark the marketing is. Unless you are running forced induction or can manually advance your timing to take advantage of the longer burn cycle, it does no good at all. That being said, i always use premium...

    Hard start

Yeah, cold air is more dense which is why it burns better.. RX7? I'm a bit confused... I thought the RX8 was the one with the rotary engine

OMFG!!! I know that jeep! I believe it belongs to shannon laratt from BMEzine. (online body modification magazine) I once saw two guys pull that thing from hooks in their back at one of the BMEzine BBQ parties. I got some pix too, but i think ppl might get a bit grossed out.
