BFG 31x10.50 A/T; Ranchos & 2" Teraflex lift. By "on the back", do you mean rear tires ? Asking, because, while steering wheel has some wobble, the big majority of the vibration seems to be coming from the rear. Have attached pics of rear control arm bushings.

You are correct--no adjustment on sway bar links. Have a vibration that seems like wheel hop. Changed wheels/tires front to rear, same vibration. Replaced all 4 tie rod ends, same vibration. Am stumped.

If you have tensioned your sway bar links, then what handling/riding characteristics would that produce?

Any solution to the paint problems on 1993 ZJ ? White, and peeling away on hood and a few other places. When I try touch up, the edge of remaining paint reacts--curls up, peels away. Except for areas where it is peeling away, the paint is in very good shape. Any solutions for touch ups ?

Back up lights not working. Someone told me the switch was inside the transmission. Is that true, or is there a more practical solution, like a fuse, or a switch under the console shifter plate ? Thanks

Here's a follow up. I got a Scosche FMMOD02 Universal FM Modulator on ebay for $29.94, including shipping, and here's a link to how to install the Scosche unit through the glove box of a TJ, without having to remove the radio. Link: FM Wired Modulator

How get MP3 interface onto year 2000 TJ ? Currently has stock CD player. Has anyone info. on a way to get an MP3 interface onto this system. Does radio have 3.5mm or rca outputs in the back? ...any way to rig an output for MP3 player? Also, how do you pull the radio on this vehicle...special...

The error is "door" ajar. Panel even shows a line drawing of the driver's side rear door ajar/open. No indication of a hatch problem. It's obvious that there is a problem with the switches/sensors. Thanks, but better Info. is; where is the switch located; how does it action; how repair; etc...

Tips, help: Trans. fluid change out... Would like to change out my Trans. fluid. I think I did this about a hundred years ago. All I remember is that the Trans. pan doesn't have a drain plug, and I'm not even sure about that. Also, I think it uses ATF+4. Can anyone offer any tips, how to's...
