anyone out there running a stock front axle with welded diff? using the split axle shaft (with either the vac. or cable to engage) to make it streetable... ? thinking about doing that as i have a ltd. slip in the rear and dont want to sink $$ in the axles as i'm looking for a new set to build...

my 89 4.2L likes to digest motor mounts on a fairly regular basis (bout every 2yrs or so) gotta replace em both again - I had the same prob w/my old 91 - probably from the xfer case drop putting the angle on the mounts... - anyone know of mounts that hold up better than the ghettozone ones i've...

need to replace the outer axle seal on the front right (passenger side) - looks like the hub will come out in one piece after pulling 3 bolts off the knuckle - is this right (i know i have to pull the axle disconnect to work the sleeve) - got a new seal from napa - looks like its about 3" dia...
