    Leaf Springs?

I have no intention of selling it. The '76 CJ7 is one of my dream vehicles. Why? Because they are the best looking jeep out there and '76 was the first model year of the CJ7. This one will be with me until the end.

    Leaf Springs?

Right now, the search is on for a good shop to put it all together. I'd like to do it myself, but I don't have the tools, or the know how. I'm a University biology student, so I don't have the time to learn right now. Some day I'll build my own CJ7 from the ground up. Thanks again for answering...

    Leaf Springs?

Thanks guys. I'll probably go with a double triangulated four link because I can get really good articulation with them, and then through some Bilstein 9300 series coil over shocks on. Anything to get rid of leaf springs. I got $30,000 to blow on this thing thanks to the stock market and I want...

    Leaf Springs?

Are leaf springs a must, or is there another part that can connect the axle to the frame? I'm sure that this is second nature to a lot of you, but I really have no idea. If there is another way to go, please let me know. I want to lift a '76 CJ7 and hopefully, not be restricted by leaf springs...

How much of a lift will I need?

Do you really think I can get maximum articulation of my suspension with only a four in lift? I don't want the tires rubbing. ???

Thanks. The tires were completely bald except for one, which was new. Just as I had done every other time coming home from school, I did a four wheel drift on the the freeway entrance ramp, only this time, the back left tire blew and I lost it. At that point I was moving at about 30 mph because...

How much of a lift will I need?

I'm fairly new to jeeps and working on cars in general. I've changed the oil a few times and can do the basic maintenance. I know where most of the components are and what they do, but I have never actually worked on them, however, I would like to start working on my own vehicle more extensively...

How much of a lift will I need?

Thanks, I will probably go with something around 5" total lift. I've never used body lifts before, so it will be a new adventure.

How much of a lift will I need?

I thought that it might be helpful to provide the link to the page about that CJ7 I am looking to buy. Take a look at it. Metallic Brown 1976 Jeep CJ7 (Car/Truck) located in the Minneapolis - St. Paul area.

How much of a lift will I need?

BACKGROUND: I am thinking about buying a 1976 CJ7 because I think it is the best looking jeep around. Plus, they can be turned into some pretty hard core wheelers. This one seems to be in pretty good condition with a rebuilt AMC 304 (16,000 miles) and a lot of other fairly new, but not upgrade...

    After Triple Role Over 3

I rolled my Jeep down a hill. It rolled once to the side, then twice end over end. I only got one small cut on my wrist. It landed right side up. Even after this, it was still drivable.

I'll be the first to admit that it needs a lot of work, but I haven't been able to get it stuck yet, so I'm happy.
