engine swap

I have a 92' wrangler with a 4cyl. I would like to install a V8. I own a 98' dodge truck with a 318 in it. I know most people install small block chevy or ford motors. How much more difficult would it be to install the 318? I would prefer to stay with a manual trans. I would just curious would I be better off to sell the truck and buy a chvy motor and trans. I would prefer to use my 318 since I've owned it since new. If I chose to use an auto trans., or manual which would I need to use?

You can swap that in. Its just a lot of wiring since its obd2
