New wiring

Looking to replace the wiring in my '85 CJ7, inline 258 6cyl. Any recommendations or warnings for harnesses like Painless, etc...? Has 2 barrel carb which needs some work. Any upgrade recommendations? This is my daily driver, when it runs, so I need to get it working.

I have heard good things about painless but have no personal experience with it. This section Is really more for radio, winch, off road lights installs. You have a legit cj repair question, and you should repost your question In the CJ,yj,tj section. you would get faster and better responses. for carbs, probably a aftermarket weber carb.
