yj half doors

Hi
I am planning to cut holes to fit locks to my YJ half doors. I think I have located where to drill by taking measurements from photos but it would be great if anyone has the exact measurement.
I am also wanting to buy half door latch/lock mechanisms, as I am not the first to realise you can't transfer them from full doors.

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do. Do you have a set of YJ half doors, like below, or do you have something else?

I think they don't have locks for a reason. It's less expensive to not leave stuff in the Jeep then to have your windows cut regularly

Putting locks on yj half doors as pictured (thanks Terry), to be screen accurate on a Jurassic Park conversion, looking for the measurement from the leading edge of the door ( my guess is 30.5 inches) and from the bottom edge of the black outer door handle assembly to the centre of the lock,
