The 3.8L isn’t a bad motor it just needs more air to “breathe†properly. To awaken your motor simply replace your restrictive stock exhaust manifolds with the free flowing Rugged Ridge design. Our headers increase exhaust gas exit velocity to move more air through the cylinder head’s combustion chamber resulting in performance gains. They are constructed of 409 stainless steel to ensure a long operating life. Each complete kit includes manifolds, gaskets, hardware, clamps and easy to read instruction sheets. Our polished aluminum mandrel bent intake tube replaces the restrictive factory air box to help improve fuel economy and performance. A black powder coated heat shield separates the fi lter from engine heat, dirt and debris, as cold air is drawn through a high-fl ow conical air fi lter. Unlike other reusable air filters, our dry panel design never needs oiling, which keeps your MAF from being damaged by excess oil! The simple bolt on installation gives you power you can feel, adding up to 10HP and 12ft lbs or torque, depending on application.
