I have a motorcraft 2100 carb on my Jeep. The choke is bi metal. My choke does not work. It appears to have all the parts and they appear to be set up right. On the side it has a cannister with arrows that say lean and (if i remember) rich. I took this off and turned the spring, and it appears to work ok. The actual butterfly in the carb. moves if I move the spring far enough.
Does anyone know the proper way to get this thing set up? When I tinker with it, I have to let the Jeep warm up to check it, then cool all the way down before messing with it again, so I thought I would abandon the lengthy attempts at getting it adjusted and ask for advice.
