CJs/YJs and Rear Seats

I believe the rear seat was a YJ option.
Was it also an option on the old CJ7s?

Can a rear seat be added to either one
if you find a model that doesn't have it?

Is rear seat room pretty similar between
the two? I believe they both have similar
wheelbases, but not sure about cab size.

i don't think the seat was a option on the cj-7. at least i've never heard of it being one. as far as seat room goes, i'm pretty sure it's the extra 7 inches or so behind the seat in the cj-7 that's different. could be wrong though as i have never mesured it .
