Driveshaft angle

Any one know the correct angle between the pinion yolk and driveshaft? I went SOA and when doing so pitched the rears too far up I think. With the CV shaft the drive shaft comes straight at the pinon yolk, there's no angle. I heard somewhere it should be about 3-5 degrees.

Thanks,
Tom

The pinion and driveshaft should be parallel when using a CV driveshaft.

If you do not have a traction bar to limit axlewrap, it's often beneficial to have the pinion slightly down from parallel.
