I recently put in a transfer case into my yj. vaccums lines were cracked and the old transfer case had a hole at the bottom of it. ( I bought it like that).now, The front hubs are locked in.I can get in and out of 4wd. My question is, do i really need those vaccum lines fixed or should i leave it how it is?? If I do leave them what can go wrong?Serious question NO SMART a$$e$ please. thank you.

You don't really need the vacuum lines as long as you have it capped from the engine so you don't have a vacuum leak.

You can leave the front axle disconnect engaged, it won't hurt anything if you have the OEM open differential in the front axle. Can't leave it engaged if you run a locker in the front.

Worse case scenario with the disconnect engaged, you 'might' get some driveshaft vibes if the front driveshaft isn't well balanced.
