I have a 2019 Wrangler JL driver door lock only works when door is closed,open door and the button will not work? Any one have this happening?

Appears to be a common issue.


First try disconnecting and reconnecting harness at the door like when you remove the door.

In the passenger footwell, there is a control module in that footwell.
If you pull the cover off where you unhook the passenger door connector, this module is just forward of that, it was the white connector about in the middle of the module.

There are several connectors look for one connector that looks like it isnt all the way inserted.

Good thought!

Our Honda is a pushbutton start . It has a proximity sensor and you cannot lock the car with a fob inside.
