Does anyone know if you need the spacial tools to do a timing chain job on a 3.7 litre liberty? we put everything together but I'm stressing over starting it up cause I know it's an interference motor. Any help would be great!!!!

Yes. There are several special tools required for servicing the timing chain on the 3.7, 4.7 and 5.7 engines. It's still posible to do the job without them but it will cause you more time and a lot of headaches trying to recheck all the chains and the sprocket orientations along with the crankshaft and the two camshaft positions. I don't have the part numbers of the special tools off hand but they are in the essential tool inventory of any Chrysler dealerships. You might want to see if you could see the tools required. If i get caught up at work i might be able to get the part numbers and take a pic of the tools.
