2005 wk transfer case

I was curious if anyone knows/ has switched these transfer cases. I have the 3.7 v6 with the full time transfer case. No selector lever. I wanted to switch transfer cases and get at least a 4 low lock option. I know the 4.7 v8's have it. I was hoping someone had input. I would like to be able to get a 4 low. I just don't know if I can jut simply switch transfer cases. And run some wiring for the 4wd

Jeep Grand Cherokee WK - Features and options shows the NV245 was optional for the Laredo, doesn't say anything about not being available behind the 3.7L engine. I'd say most of the wiring is probably already there. Your largest hurdle is finding the 245, maybe needing new driveshafts, and finding the console parts for the 4lo switch. You might get lucky finding a complete WK at a you-pull-it yard, or buying a crashed Jeep for cheap.
