Rear suspension levelling/stability??

Hi

I own a 98 Cherokee Country(Box shape I think you call them the XJ) 4.0L 6Cylinder.

Is there something that can be done to the rear suspension that will allow the vehicle to stay level as well as become more stable when loaded and towing. It is currently the standard leaf spring set-up with Gas shock absorbers?

Thanks

Adding a leaf to the rear spring pack or replacing the leaf springs altogether will take care of that. Adding a leaf would cost well under $100 for a do-it-yourself job, and new springs would be considerably more expensive. The add-a-leaf option could be done by just about anybody with standard tools and jacks on a level dirveway or garage in a few hours.

Both good options. Be sure to get a full-length add-a-leaf should you go with that option, it will bring the back end up a bit without making the ride harsh like the short AAL's do.
