Just wanted to know. i have an 88 cherokee laredo. its 4.0L automatic 4wd with full time option. it has an option for transmission Power or comfort. the question is... i dont know if my transmission is bad or not. when im cruising along at a decent speed and i slowly let off the gas , when i get so my foot has very little pressure on the gas , the jeep will seem like it almost jumps back a gear , or the tq converter slips. if i drive along in 3rd gear or OD , i can let completely off the gas and every time i apply my foot to the gas again , the jeep will do this as well , seems like it revs a bit before going into gear... or downshifts , im not really sure which. do these have high stalls? or is my transmission headed south? thank you for any replies!
