Km - Miles ?!?!?!

i recently purchased my 1st jeep , a 98 Grand Cherokee and am having a hard time finding out how i could switch over the odometer from KM since it's a Canadian model , over to regular miles .

i considered buying a gauge cluster off ebay , and one of the listings mentioned that the mileage is stored on the vehicle's ecu

so do i have to get a new computer in order to switch it , or a cluster , or is there some way of doing it manually ???

any help would be appreciated

I've never heard of a way to do it, I'd ask the stealership to see if they can flash the 'puter for use in the US.

thanks man , thought about that too , i was just curious if there was another way to do it , cause they're probably gonna charge a grip to do it

It shouldn't take more that 5mins. all they have to do is Change the Country Code on the Body Control Module.
