Headlight part needed for my 1979 Wagoneer.

Hey guys!

On both of my headlights the side-to-side plastic adjuster has broken. I can not find a replacement anywhere. I've even talked to BJ's and they said that I need to find used headlight buckets in a junk yard. That would be great, but we have exactly one junkyard up here, they have very, very little selection- AND they are literally higher priced than new parts in most cases.

So, looking at the plastic part, it seems like it would be easy to fabricate a new one out of metal. Has anybody run across this problem? If so, what was your solution?

I was asked for one of those Plastic Clips with an adjuster screw for a 76 waggy. i told him to go to Carquest auto and look in the help section. they have it..

The round headlight adjusters are available. It's the rectangular ones that seem to be hard to get. It may have something to do with the weird offset? Might be easier to just convert the thing over to round headlights! It needs a new grill anyway...
