hi all well I am back. has anybody had trouble with the serpentine belt jumping & slipping ? on Cherokee sport 2.4 2002 I have had the steering pump checked that`s OK I have had the idle wheel changed also the auto tensioner new serpentine belt but it is still doing it if I ref-the engine you can see the belt trying to jump, as soon as the ref`s are running high it does not do it the mod has been done which said to remove one of the idle wheel,s which had been done before I got it. no one seem to know how to stop this happening ? I have tried spraying it with belt slip which made it worse. I then had to remove the belt and replace it and clean off the pulley wheels, has anybody got any ideas ?. even when I have built the rev`s up I can turn the steering wheel back & forward and does not slip
