guys im new to this 4x4 stuff and am ready to get started. I just bought a 93 cherokee for 600 bucks and want to build a cheap rock/mud buggy. I was wondering if I could stack 3" spacers with some 3" lift springs for a cheaper 6" lift?

Welcome to the Z.

You can do it, but it's way too much combined spring height for a short arm kit. It will handle poorly on road and off as the short arms are too near vertical.

Unless you convert to a longarm suspension, go shorter and trim the fenders if you need the tire clearance.

you can run 33's with a 3 inch lift if you arent afried to cut the fenders.. you really dont want to go much over 4.5 with short arms the ride qualty goes to crap and it wont flex at all.. another option is get some front drop brackets and use the 3in springs and 3in spacers. the drop brackets relocate your control arms downwards about 4 inches.. they can cause your frame to crack from the added stress of the lower mounting location though..

just my 2 cents
