Just bought a 96 GC in pretty good shape. The seller was not the original owner.
The power door locks and remote entry system, when unlocked, only open the front doors and liftgate, not the back passenger doors. I feel this is probably a setting, and not a mechanical issue like both rear door locks faulty.
Anyone know if the power locks have any "settings"? And how do I reset them?

Either it works all together or it doesn't. The only setting that is customer preference is the button unlock sequence. First push on the fob unlock, driver only. Second push, all doors. Did you check if there is a child safety switch on the door latch on both rear doors?. If so, if it's engaged, the door cannot be opened from the inside door handle even if it's unlocked, only the outside door handle will open the rear doors. The next step is to verify voltage to the rear door lock actuators when actuated from the master switch(driver front). If there's no voltage when actuated, the first step in isolating the cause would be to trace the signal circuit for lock and unlock from the master switch door jamb wiring harness. Inop power windows and door locks with no voltage on one or two doors are often diagnosed with a severed (open circuit) on the door jamb wiring harness inside the rubbber boot.
