hello everyone i have a 95 xj 4.0ho, and i have a crack in the radiator. already did the hose and thermostat back in dec, t-stat is a 180, now should i just use some stop leak, or get a oe replacement, or a heavy duty one. so i don't have to worry, would appreciate any advice

the stop leak is only going to get a temporary fix for a little while. I would just get a oem one unless you are expecting to need some heavy duty cooling

its iffy. If there are high miles then it might not be a bad idea, but you might also consider if it isn't broke, leave it alone.

there is a GREAT product out there called Alumiseal for less than $10.
I have used it 2-3 times in the last 20 years and it has always worked for me.
I used it on a polished $1000 brass radiator that was on my 23 Model "T" roadster.
That radiator had a 2 inch crack in it and it sealed it.
I drove that car around for another 4 years on long trips 100 miles or so at 200 degrees and it never leaked again.
I just added some to this 87 YJ I am working on to seal a hole and it is not leaking either.
Just drop it in and run the engine for 10 minutes and Done!
Also I have never noticed any side effects like poor circulation or higher heat temps.
