that is about what i got with mine when i first got it but after a 4.5 inch lift and 31s under it im to scared to even do the math

Yeah -- It can get a little Scary---the MPG can slip a little from the ORIGINAL OEM-- Numbers! Try to keep a Fairly Sharp Tune on the Engine New Plugs - Clean the Fuel Injectors--New air filter--Change OIL -- Also: Fuel Filter. All the FUN stuff. At the PRICE of Gas -- You can Hardly AFFORD to not do it! True? JB

airbox is very restrictive on that jeep. K&N intake helped my mileage a little bit, and my low- and mid-range torque a bit.

i get as good as 22-23 hwy now, with a stroker engine. around town, driving like an *******, i get 16.5 and over 330 ft.lbs of torque.

I was gettin in the 17 range with a 89 xj 4.0 spd mostly city driving

I had been getting in the 18-19 range in city, but I'm pretty sure I'm lower than that now. Need to do a bit of maintainance to bring that back.

I am averaging 16mpg after about 2000 miles. Just changed the oil today, I'll see if it gets better.
