Loud Virbations

Question! i got a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 V6 all of a sudden i got a loud vibration noise that sounds like its coming from my exhaust but the exhaust isnt lose anyone got any ideas what it could be?

drove it to down the road no vibration noise at all shut if off came back started it again a few minutes later an all of a sudden i got this really loud vivration that sounds like its coming from my exhaust

only work done on the jeep today was replacing the Front two Shocks nothing touched the exhaust in anyway

Does the vibration get louder the faster you drive? Does it stop at a stop light? Does it sound like metal on metal?

If you can get it to make the noise while in the driveway then throw on the parking brake, chock the wheels and bend down and see if you can identify the location. It could be something like a loose heat shield.

Sometimes it can be the heat shield on the catalytic converter.

I had the outer case on my muffler rust off the ends of the muffler and rattled like crazy
