Wj sub installation help!

Hey everyone, im new to this. I am currently installing a subwoofer and amplifier in my 2000 wj limited. I have just about everything finished besides the ground wire. Any suggestion on the best place to mount the ground wire to bare metal? I only have 2 feet of wire to work with. Please get back to me thanks in advance.

I guess the key question here is " where did you mount the amplifier?" .. If you mounted it under the seat, use the seat bracket bolt.

I used the seat bracket bolt. The ground wire has to be touched by completely silver metal on both sides, right? It cannot have black paint on it, i have to sand down the metal, correct?

Yes. Only the surface to make a good ground contact needs to be striped.

Still having trouble with ground wire. No easy spots to mount it. Might have to go with drilling my own hole. Any suggestions?
