Hey guys for the past couple days my jeep has been acting up. When I first start it up it after its been sitting overnight it doesn't go into overdrive (if I counted right). But if I stop on the side of the road and turn it (the entire car) off and back on again then everything works fine. Since it works after I turn it off and on again I've guessed that means its an electrical peoblem so I think I'm gonna disconnect the battery to reset the computer and see if that works but if anybody knows what to do please let me know. Thanks.

Check engine light come on at all? I know the solenoids are a common repair item in that transmission, should be two of them.
