Trans fluid amount '07 liberty?

I picked up a dipstick at the auto store that measures in mm, how much transmission fluid does my '07 Jeep Liberty need?

A transmission dipstick isn't just like a motor oil dipstick. If the transmission was a quart low you'd probably notice it while driving. Whenever I add oil to any auto trans I add a little at a time and keep checking the stick until it's at/near the correct level.

From empty add 3 quarts. Start the engine and run through the gears while the engine and trans fluid come up to temp. Then check the fluid level and top off as needed.


Is should read between 25 and 85 mm depending on the fluid temp

Would you happen to know a website with transmission fluid capacity charts, hopefully including accurate temperature levels. I cannot find an accurate one.
