Hello Im new here to JEEPZ. I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has some rust on the front drivers side frame. Not the long frame that gos along the jeep just a part that is connected to it and gos off to the side and up to the cab. What part of the frame is this called? Same on the passenger rear side frame. Wondering if its repairable? Its a beautiful jeep. 4.0 v6. Drives smooth like a luxary car.

In conclusion id like to know what part of the frame the rusted parts are if its fixable any kits to fix this. And any info on it. And how i would go about fixing it. Is this driveable ? Or should i sell it for parts so someone eles can save their Jeep with the good parts it does have. Thanks in advance for the help and information.

Take it to a car wash. clean and then let dry your under carrige. spray Rust-Oleum paint on everything. let dry. then spray a undercoating over the paint and let dry. you should be good to go after that. Your pics show normal damage to a jeep with no undercoating.

Thanks for replying 98chero. So what exactly is rusted connected to the frame in the pictures ? And Do you think its still safe to drive? The main frame along the jeep is fine only those parts are bad. Good idea on that i will clean that area up and paint it with rust-oleum.
