I have a 1993 Grand Cherokee. It will turn over, but won't start. Fuel relay just clicks. No spark either. Anyone got a clue ?

BASICS
KOEO (key on eng off)
is here 12v at coil?
is there 12v at inj?

and your crank sensor in the trans is good?

and, as a quick check, have someone turn the key while you push on the ecu cover. the ecu is in front of the passenger, but in the engine bay. they are well known to develop bad connections, both of my zj grand Cherokees did it. one, I was able to take care of it by putting some pieces of wood on the side of the ecu and zip tying them to the ecu. the other required me to buy an ecu. I got one on ebay for 50bucks and the jeep never had trouble again

Check fuel pressure key on. If no fuel and no spark it's likely the CPK on the transmission. Only use OEM sensors and be sure the paper gasket is on the top before installing. That paper is a spacer to make sure you don't damage the sensor on first start.

Why did you change ECU?

The fuel pressure check with a gauge is standard with FI.

Did you ck dist cap and rotor - assy does spin?

BUT try this trick, as someone cranks engine spray carb cleaner into TB - does it try to 'hit" fire when spraying?

Did you try to read codes?

Does tach register RPM when cranking?

Can you use a test light and wring dia?

I think the cps can be checked with multimeter but I am not 100 percent sure.
