2001 jeep Cherokee sport- power brake booster

I bought another power brake booster at the junkyard and put it in my jeep and made sure everything was connected and tight. I still have to push hard to stop. My brakes are brand new all the way around 3 months ago. Is it possible that I got another bad booster? I got a Haynes manual but still can't find any other problems

Does the new booster behave the same way as the old booster, or was there any change?

Are you sure that it's the booster? Any chance that you could have a frozen caliper, or air in the lines?

Lift? Heavy bumpers wench? How big are your tires?

Possible air in the lines?
What rpm do you idle at? Vac leak check vac gage.
How did you bleed the brakes? Vac bleed and start with all new fluid.
Check that none of your hoses are crimped or hard lines dented or crimped.

I bought the other booster at the auto salvage, no change. I replaced all 4 brake pads about 3 months ago with no issues to the calipers. Made sure brake lines were bled when changed the pads.
