Rims

I’m currently in the process of installing a 4.5” rough country lift on my ‘01 xj I want to run 33x12.50 on it and I have about a 1.5-2” wheel adapter to fit the rims. The rims are 10” wide. My question is with such wide rims and the wheel adapters would my tires stick out too much?

What year model jeep? I See the edit now.
What is the backspacing/offset on the rim?
What do you consider too much? Check state and local laws because some have laws on how much could go past the fender flair

Well, that's good to know. If you'd happen to look for spare tires or a fine set of wheels in the future, look no further than 4WheelOnline. I've been buying from them for years, and so far, I have nothing to complain about.
