Hi guys,
Nice look on the site...I like it...Here's a question for you..A friend of mine just purchased a 93 xj country...when I was inspecting it I found an air stem attached to the underside of the bumper..i am assuming that this is for the rear suspension..what we would like to know are the specs for the various loads..
Thanks

Check for airlines to the shocks, sounds like air shocks. I wouldn't haul any more than the manufacturer's recommended loads, using the airshocks to level the ride when loaded. Be careful with them, they add a lot of stress to the shock mounts.

Are you talking about the front bumper or the rear for the "air system"? XJ's have a vacume canister in the pass side front bumper.

soundman, the sir stem is in the rear under the bumper

I know that they are air shocks...i was wondering if anyone knows what the specs for the load capacity vs the air pressure in the rear shocks?

Just air it up to compinsate ...don't overload the vehicle though...I wouldn't go over your standard weight...puts to much strees on the shock mounts.....
