I have just learned that i am going to trade for a 2000 cherokee that is lifted 3 inches because the owner cant afford the gas. i am very excited to get it. but, the transmission is having minor problems. it cant decide what gear it wants to stay in when its going up hills(it shifts back and forth between gears more so than usual). does anyone know what the problem is?? And about how much it is to 1. fix the problem, or 2 how much a new transmission is for a cherokee??
Also, i was wondering about bumpers and airbags. do you have to move the airbag sensor in order to put on a new bumper, say a 4 real bumper?? or is it fine. i was told that for some bumpers you have to move the airbag sensor, which really risks setting off the airbags.
